The Bayshore Regional Sewerage Authority has developed into the entity it is today due to the commitment, attentiveness, and determination of all our commissioners and employees. We thank everyone for the last 50 years of service (1974 - 2024) where we have learned and grown from every opportunity presented to us. With the support of our staff, professionals and municipalities, we are able to look towards the future in great anticipation of what we can achieve together! Read more ►
Mission
We clean, recycle, and return water to the environment every minute of every day.
Vision Statement
"The Bayshore Regional Sewerage Authority is Committed to a Clean Environment for Today, Tomorrow and Generations to Come".
In fulfilling that commitment, the BRSA Commissioners, Staff and Professionals strive to provide High Level Wastewater Treatment service to the Northern Bayshore Communities while actively pursuing process improvements that will lower the cost of doing business.
Values
We are committed to establishing the highest standards of quality, while protecting the environment. We are devoted to producing safe working conditions for all employees, while continually improving our workplace practices. Our team is enthusiastic in overcoming all obstacles in a fiscally responsible manner, while delivering exceptional results.
What We Do
BRSA is a member of the New Jersey Water Environment Association (NJWEA) and the National Water Environment Federation (WEF). WEF created the video below to illustrate the work we do.
Awards & Recognitions
BRSA is staffed with a Professional team focused on the greatest results for the lowest cost. You may view the various Honors the BRSA has been awarded or the Bayshore Success Center for our employees that have received awards and recognitions from BRSA and other organizations.
Preventing Backups
We continue to be proactive in our response to Coronavirus ("COVID-19"). Due to this public health emergency, our equipment is experiencing blockages from “flushable” and disinfectant wipes.
With the increased use of wipes (“flushable”, wet, baby, anti-bacterial, disinfectant, etc.) and paper towels, we are reminding all residents to please make sure you put these items in the trash and do not flush them down the toilet! Read more ►
